Zayed Khan spoke about money management
In fact, in a recent conversation with Subhojit Ghosh, Zayed Khan suggested that saving for emergency is very important. When he was asked about his net worth of Rs 1500 crore, he laughed. The actor said that he understands how important it is to manage one’s finances.
Giving financial advice to aspiring actors, Zayed said, “If I tell you, you will wonder why you didn’t think of this before. There is a saying, ‘If you can afford a Ferrari, buy a Mercedes, and if you can afford a Mercedes, buy a Fiat. We are in the age of social media, where your image… you are probably living a life you can’t afford. Some people are doing really well, but 80% of them are not doing well and they are going bankrupt. They have EMIs, loans and then they do stupid things to improve stupid things. It’s a rabbit hole.”
Do things that benefit you
Zayed further added, “Live within your means. Showing off is not about glitz and glamour. It can just be the manners you show in life. Try to do things that benefit you, or that can make you move ahead. The numbers will automatically go up. But stay within your limits. You don’t have to wear something new every day or be ashamed of where you come from. Be who you are. Problems will always come in life. Are you letting them affect you? There is a saying, ‘I don’t know the way to success, but the sure way to failure is to please everybody.’
Zayed said, “I don’t know if this is the way forward for youngsters, but develop your spine, keep your character right… There is a very famous saying, ‘The world needs warriors, not parasites.’ It depends on you whether you want to be a parasite or a warrior.”
